Competition Policy

Our experts are pioneering leaders in the development of antitrust policy in Latin America; our professional background covers 15 of the 20 countries in the region and work that began in the early 1990s. In this capacity, we have developed legal reform projects for the first inception as well as tracking of the policy and institutional capacity building. Our advisory role also covers pre-litigation and conflict resolution services in this field to private corporations.

Eonlex has developed a preemptive strategy for businesses faced with the introduction of competition legislation in their jurisdiction. We make an assessment of the current state of corporate policies and business practices to establish whether they are compatible with the legislation introduced. Also, we prepare compliance manuals, to ease the adaptation of corporations to the new competition policy environment.
